Below you will find a list of Speakers, who have graced our planet, (trying to steer us towards the direction of LOVE
in lieu of HATE), to "redeem our planet (including the many individuals and animals - wild and domestic) from the count-
less destruction we now find ourselves in.
Unfortunately, over the years, decades, and centuries, we have been bombarded with countless examples (via the news,
t.v. programs, and commercials -- including the Internet) the many ways TO NOT Love, Respect, and Treat ourselves and
others in humanistic ways. - how to interact with children in a positive way, and how to interact with one another in a similar
way (techniques that can work with adults as well.)
-- By helping ourselves and others -- alleviate a lot of the pain and disruptive "Acts of Violence" that have impacted and
influenced our lives over the years. We not only have been carrying around within ourselves (both consciously and un-
consciously) - (which we will be discussing in class) at the very core of our being...the countless inhumane, immoral treat-
ment of Our Fellow Humans (who act, speak, dress. and behave "uniquely unto their own")..but also the appalling, deplor-
able, inexcusable, behavioral acts (for sheer profit, gain and sport) going against our MAGNIFICANT, MAJESTIC ANIMALS
- (wild & domestic)
Whether we realize it, believe it or even want to accept it or not, these acts not only affect us internally (our psyche) but
also affects us in how we interact and treat not only ourselves, but others as well (including our animals)
By now, I am sure you have heard the phrase - "Let us - Come Together As One". I would like to pause here for a moment
and explain what the phrase "Come Together As One" means - as it affects your life and the lives of the people (and animals)
Just recently, I came across a video, while I was researching what it means to "come together as one", and I found this par-
"The Great Dictator" (1940).
I find these words are still prevalent today, as they were - the day Mr. Chaplin made that speech. The following was taken
as an excerpt (below the video by Marcos Lagardo Gomez) which reads:
“The Great Dictator”, an elegant speech composed by the magnificent Charlie Chaplin, was a particularly moving one that has gained wide-
spread recognition and praise since it was given back in the 1940s. On the surface, it appears as if Chaplin is directing soldiers to think for
themselves and to break away from dictators’ indoctrination, as “dictators free themselves but they enslave the people!” is a line that is
reprehended throughout the speech. Further analysis of Chaplin’s speech seems to reveal, however, that he rather wants the soldiers to
break away from the deeper aspect of tyranny that has been embedded within them, essentially controlling them. Chaplin wants the
audience to take action and think for themselves; to help one another and to save humanity from war using three key rhetorical tools:
ethos, organization and pathos."
We ALL Need To Come-Together-- and UNITE with one another - TOGETHER -- AS ONE...
Not only as individuals, but collectively with others as well. -
